Specifications:

The EAP650-Outdoor supports WiFi 6 (802.11ax) technology and is backward compatible with older WiFi standards. It provides dual-band wireless speeds with up to 2402 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and up to 574 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. Smart internal antennas with horizontal and vertical polarization deliver optimized long-range coverage of up to 300 meters on 5 GHz and 200 meters on 2.4 GHz, depending on the environment.

Security features include advanced WPA3 encryption, Captive Portal authentication with SMS and voucher options, and support for 802.1x RADIUS authentication servers. The access point is powered either via 802.3at PoE+ switches or the included passive PoE adapter, allowing a single cable for both data and power.

Seamless roaming ensures smooth transitions between access points, and Omada Mesh support enables flexible wireless deployment without extensive wiring. The EAP650-Outdoor features an IP68-rated enclosure for extreme weather resistance and operates reliably in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 65°C.

In real-world use (where there may be walls, trees, buildings, or interference), the range could be shorter, but it’s still excellent for large outdoor spaces like gardens, campuses, farms, resorts, event venues, or parking lots.
